One of the finest sections of Weaveinindia saris is our assortment of Patan Patolas, authentically from Patan Gujarat. Patan Patolas were originally worn only by aristocrats due to the fine craftsmanship that is painstaking and time consuming to weave into a final sari. This beautiful selection is a bright chilli red sari depicting the traditional "Navratna" motif. Patola saris are a symbol of patience, imagination and dexterity of the hand of the artisan reflected in these classic motifs. Offset in bright red is the simple border with stripes running along the length Of the sari. The pallu features Phul Bhat motifs and the sari comes without a blouse. This piece is one of a kind is curated by Weaveinindia, especially for our clients with a keen interest in carefully crafted traditions.
