Patan Patolas were originally worn only by aristocrats due to the fine craftsmanship that is painstaking and time consuming to weave into a final sari. This beautiful selection is an elegant aubergine purple and cherry red sari depicting the traditional "Navratna" motif. Patola saris are a symbol of patience, imagination and dexterity of the hand of the artisan reflected in these classic motifs.
