Kora

Kora Silk refers to Organza Silk, is a common term used to label untreated, uncoloured, or undyed Silk cloth which is widely preferred in the market due to its elegance and grace. The sheer nature of the fabric helps maintain weightlessness, which along with the sheen from the silk yarns gives it an ethereal look.

Organza silk is used as Kora silk saris or as lehenga fillings in bridal ensembles; to add dimensional structure and silhouette to the skirt.

The Kora saris of our collection at Weaveinindia have a presence of their own in our ateliers. We often create a synergy between Kora and styles like Banarasi and Paithani weaving to create a unique hybrid sari that is an expression of regal exclusivity for our niche shoppers, who prefer style, taste and quality above anything else.

Choose from our Handwoven Kora Silks and add them to your collection of festive outfits.
